Issue abstract:
When a feature is turned off, the product should not keep showing me errors about it.
Detailed description:
The home page of Norton 360 always indicates there is a problem, which causes a fear reaction in customers.
In my case I choose not to use disk optimization or cleaning up files. That is system maintenance and has nothing to do with threat protection. If I choose not to use these addition features then Norton should disable all code having to do with them. Instead I have to react to the big red logo in the first screen capture below.
Sadly, what I would think would be important to put on the home page and in a Windows Notification would be the RED results for a scan which I had to go to the security page to see. See screen capture 2 below.
Issues during a scan seems very bad! I want to see what the issues are, but I cannot!!! See the third screen capture below. This is more of the UI issue that I reported with a Norton popup not being rendered correctly.
Also, the bread crumb trail at the top “Smart Scan → Advanced Issues” should allow me to click on “Smart Scan” and go back to the previous page. That does not work and the only way to get out of this is to close the application and open it again.
