This past weekend I noticed that my norton 360 kept crashing. I could restart it and then a few minutes later it would crash again. I'm not sure how long it's been happening.
This is the entry from the application events.
N360.exe, version 12.11.2.9, faulting module IDSxpx86.dll, version 14.0.0.431, fault address 0x00013cef.
Ran chkdsk and it did fix some securiry descriptors and journal entries and a number of other items.
I ran chkdsk a second time and it came up clean.

ESET online scan-CLEAN
Malwarebytes scan-CLEAN
Spybot S&D-CLEAN
Norton Power Eraser-CLEAN
Norton Remove and Reinstall
Norton Removal Tool
Downloaded and reinstalled the latest and greatest
N360 keeps crashing with the same error.
I'm still running on WinXP SP3
