At home, I have five computers that use Norton 360 Version 2.0. They are all connected through a wireless router, which connects through a modem and obviously connects to the internet. Unfortunately, I have an internet usage (10 GB per month) and I don't want to pay for anymore internet usage to have five exact updates for five computers.
The problem: In order to keep Norton 360 Version 2.0 up to date, Automatic LiveUpdate has to do updates for each of the five computers. This, in turn, wastes my limited internet usage which could be used for something more worthwhile instead of having five exact updates for five computers. It is very frustrating that my internet usage has to be wasted 5x more on updates instead of having one update for all computers to use.
My question: Is there a way for me to download the updates on my computer hard drive and then individually install it later on the other computers instead of downloading five exact updates on all computers (which wastes my internet usage)?
Also, is there a way to change the Automatic LiveUpdate address so that when other computers have to retrieve updates, they can retrieve it from my computer hard drive instead of the Norton 360 LiveUpdate Server?
Thank you very much for your help!
P.S. - In order to clarify, I'm not using five computers just for me. Lol. They are also for other family members to use.
