Norton 360 on Windows 10 laptop causes internet to slow to a crawl

Installed Norton 360 on HP Windows 10 laptop.  After 1-2 days internet becomes very slow.  Uninstall and reinstall Norton and everything back to normal for a few days.  Have repeated this many times.  Have difficulty removing Norton.  Used NRnR and Windows uninstall, and multiple attempts and restarts finally gets it done, but takes hours to do.

No I am not.

Are you using the VPN function in 360? That has been known to slow the internet speeds for some users.

laptop is wired to modem.  Getting 600-700 mbps speed, so that should not be a problem.

What speed are you provisioned for and what are you getting?  Have you done a speed test (wired, not wireless)?  Could be a slowdown if you have two programs each doing packet inspection, which causes a bit of a slowdown anyway.

Running Malwarebytes premium for years.  Had no problem with previous Norton versions.

Are you running any other real-time security software along with Norton on your system?
