I've been using online backup in Norton 360 for a long time now. I've started to receive an error that says I need to activate my online backup account, but it was already activated, and I have files stored there. Do I need to reactivate it? Will I lose the files already backed up? Why did it lose my activation? Thanks.

Thank you for your assistance. I checked my date/time/time zone, and they are all correct. I ran the Outfit, and it did not find any errors. I ran LiveUpdate until no update were available. My problem still exists. It does not think I have online backup activated, but I do.

Give the following a try:
- Open Norton 360's main client.
- Click on Manage on the right hand side.
- Click on Log Out located to the right. It is a darker grey color so it may be a little hard to see.
- Once done close Norton 360 and re-open it.
- Go back to Manage again and re-login to the Norton Account.
- Once completed go back to the main Norton 360 screen and click on Backup.
- Click on Restore Files.
- Click on View All
- There will be a link on the bottom of the next screen that says Refresh List.
- It'll connect to storage from there and retrieve the past history.
- Select the set and click Close.
- Verify if online backup is now properly activated.
I clicked on the Manage link. I don't have Norton Management activated. I've never used it before. There is no Logout option.
Its there when you click on Manage. When you activate you need to utilize your Norton account credentials to authenticate. Once that's done it usually leaves you logged in. If Norton Management isn't installed you should have been prompted to install it.
Once I activated Norton Management and followed the steps above, Backup started working again. I had never been prompted to set it up before. I have never even seen it before. Thanks for your help.
