Norton 360 & Outlook 2003 Error

Without making any changes to my computer I recently suddenly had my Outlook 2003 give me an error message regarding being unable to receive any of my email.  The error message that I receive (0x80004005 : The operation failed) says it has to do with script blocking in my Norton security.  The microsoft help page mentions a workaround that disables script blocking but I cannot figure out how to do that.  I have tried disabling my Norton 360 altogether to see if I could retrieve my email and that did not help.  When I go through the account setting of my Outlook program, the test step completes just fine, yet when I am in my mailbox will not receive messages.  I can send however, I believe.
