has you disable notification if driver is outdated it should fix the problem you can always disable notification from norton 360 to norton utilities
IF the @globus5000 suggestion does, in fact, solve this problem, could someone please explain what it means?
easy what produkt does you got a problem whit and i can say how you need to turn of notification
I muted these Notification settings. We’ll see if that prevents these annoying messaged from appearing.
I’m having the same problem. Turning off all notifications seems ridiculous, but if that’s the only solution and Norton won’t help…
Norton say it takes all but expeckt som to get there that is why they say 90%
Hi, My experience is, it will not remove all the pop ups. There is something else they have embedded somewhere.
As mentioned previously make sure any utilities, software or driver scans, are turned off
Same issue here. So friggen annoying. We pay a fortune for Norton, to avoid malware, “POP-UPS” and instead, Norton themselves does exactly what we’re paying to not have to deal with. Send me an e-mail, fine, but these pop-ups are so annoying and have me close to being done with Norton.
I’ve been a Norton customer for 20+ years. If this isn’t fixed by December 2025, I’m changing to MacAfee. How hard can it be for a software giant to correctly position a popup and enable links that dismiss the popup? Norton has become more and more visually intrusive over the past 5 years and I am absolutely fed up with it!
@Debra_Christy , I will likely do the same or something similar. I have already opted out of Norton for a laptop that I recently re-imaged. More to follow.
Ive just had same issue for the millionth time. It is the text size that Is doing it buddy,
OPEN WINDOWS SETTINGS
CLICK SYSTEM - AT TOP ON LEFT PANEL
CLICK DISPLAY- RIGHT UNDERNEATH YOUR PC NAME
CLICK SCALE - UNDER SCALE AND LAYOUT
CLICK TEXT SIZE - UNDER RELATED SETTINGS
DRAG THE TEXT SIZE SLIDER TO THE LEFT UNTIL TEXT IS SMALL
CLICK APPLY - TO RIGHT OF SLIDER
HOPEFULLY THE NORTON POPUP TEXT HAS SHRUNK AND YOU CAN CLICK THE X TO RID YOURSELF OF THE ANNOYANCE
GO BACK AND DRAG TEXT SIZE BACK TO YOUR PREFERENCE
Unfortunately, my Display Settings does not have a SCALE under Scale and Layout. No TEXT SIZE option with a slider either (that I can find).
ah id assumed you were windows 11 with same layout as me, im no expert at all but maybe if you change the size of ‘text, apps and other items’ to scale the popup down, id say maybe 80%, check if the popup can be closed and then put the size back to 100%?
