Norton 360 Premium VPN Internet Speed Slows Down

I'm using a Norton 360 Premium. I noted that when Norton Secure VPN is turned ON, my internet speed slows down from 300 to 58 mbps. Please advise how to correct this problem. I need help.

I have tried various regions.  The best was Torrent Optimized Region - it only cut my speed by 70%!

I guess I need to look for a new VPN - this one is an expensive package to have this significant a downside.

This is an issue that a few users are seeing. It seems to be something specific to that user's system or network connection to the internet. 

Something you can try is to select a different VPN region, instead of using the Automatic setting. From the My Norton interface, click on the down arrow beside Turn on/off beside VPN feature then click on VPN Region. Try different country settings starting with your country to see if the speed changes.
