Norton 360 preventong a file from being deleted

Hello all,

 

I am trying to delete a file, but keep getting the folloiwng message, " this action cannot be completed because the file is opened in norton 360".

 

Any advice or help would be appreciated.

um, what is the file path

Hello bjm,

 

The path is "C:\Users\Chris\Downloads\Programs". The program is a installation exe to install a program called Trading Pants.

Have you tried Windows Task Manager ~
Have you tried Safe Mode ~

Please wait for others to chime in.
