Norton 360 Quick Scan does not work

I have Norton 360 and get the Symantec Service Framework Stopped Working message whenever I try to run Quick Scan.  I have Windows 7 on my computer.  I never had this problem with Norton Internet Security but have had it continually with Norton 360.

I ran the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool.  It removed Norton 360 and reinstalled it.  When I tried to run Quick Scan - Symantec service framework stopped working.  I've run Live Update with no problems and have installed all patches and updates.

So far, Norton 360 seems to be a piece of junk for anything other than Live Update.  I have the most recent updates but can't scan the computer and don't know if the firewall/anti-virus protection is really working.

VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any suggestions?

If the Removal and Reinstall tool did not work a more thorough reinstall may be necessary using the Norton Removal Tool.

Back up your Identity Safe data if you use that feature.
Download the Norton Removal Tool from www.norton.com/nrt
Remove 360 using Windows control panel.
Reboot.
Run the NRT.
Reboot.
Log into your Norton Account at www.account.norton.com
Click on the yellow Download button beside your current subscription. This will download and install a preactivated copy of your 360.
Run LiveUpdate, rebooting as necessary, until there are no updates available.
Reboot once more and then test the installation.

Please try to run a scan with Norton Power Eraser:

Let me know how it goes.
