Norton 360 Renewal?

I have been a Norton Subscriber for many years.  I almost got burnt by the auto-renewal policy a few years ago, so now I make sure to turn off auto-renewal and remove the payment method that was required to initially activate the subscription.  If I agree to auto-renewal the price for 5 devices is $99.99.  If I buy a new product key download on Amazon right now the price is $27.99, but the small print on that Amazon product details says "For new Norton subscriptions only at an introductory price."  Since I am already a Norton 360 subscriber will I be prevented from activating the new product key?  Then I'm screwed as the Amazon product is an electronic delivery with NO RETURNS, NO REFUNDS.

It almost sounds like Norton is trying close any loopholes and prevent existing loyal customers from taking advantage of good deals being offered to new customers.  It's like when the banks offer a good interest rate but only for 'new' money.  It doesn't pay to be loyal.

There is no problem using a new product key to activate a new subscription as if you are a new customer. Norton has the same kind of pricing on their own web site. The prices shown are for 'new customers', but nothing stops anyone from doing what you have been doing by turning off auto renewal and removing payment information.
