did any of the slugs at Norton answer this? I am having the same annoying issue. I think they are doing it on purpose just to piss us off to switch to some other service.
LMAO, I was on chat with tech support and getting no where. The tech asked to take control of my system and I declined. I’m sure if they were asked, it would be my fault for not letting some stranger, in a far-away foreign land, have their way with my rig.
And he could barely speakEnglish and his name was Steve.
@John_F_Krug Please tell us what “version” Norton that is installed. IE: Norton Security / Norton 360 Version 25.10.10528. This is the latest version release since your opening post.
IMA that there are multiple entries in my history where, the same PID/Program is logged as “rules changed” as well, all entries are labeled “protected”. I cannot explain what that change to the firewall entails, Norton would need to chime in with those answers.

Norton 360, and I have the latest update 25.10.10528 (build 25.10.10528.957). No update has ever made a difference. The problem persists despite updates. Norton just asked me about giving onedrivelauncher.exe access, despite me giving onedrivelauncher.exe access permission “forever.” One of many.
I’m still at 25.9.10453.954. But I’m getting a little fed up with their BS. Maybe the American company with the really bad company “band” in their commercials and their white list program.
