Norton 360 Reputation Revocation List Failed to Complete

 

What should I do?

Hi dickevans,

This happens here also and it seems to be problem with Symantec site. This morning even I was not able to update even the Virus Definition Signatures too in all my systems in my home office here. I am do not know if this was happeing for other people too.

And the Norton 360 Reputation Revocation List thing is still happening here.

And even see this http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Internet-Security-Norton/Live-Update-failure-Norton-2013-Reputation-Revocation-List/m-p/969891#M239629 and you can see that many have the same problem.

Manually run Live Update

Norton 2013 Reputation Revocation List:  Failed to complete

Download updates:  Failed to complete

Process Updates:  Failed to complete

 

Norton 360 v20.3.1.22

Windows 8

 

Will try Live Update later and continue to monitor this Forum discussion

Same problem here and I've rebooted, etc. and still not downloading.

FWIW, this appears to be a server glitch @ Symantec - doing anythng to your systems IMHO is overkill. 

 

There is no telling how long it will take for Symantec to solve this, but I would recommend just sitting back and waiting until it is corrected - as I said I plan on doing nothing (expect rechecking for the completion periodically).

 

I have reported this to Norton.

Will keep manually updating norton to see what happens..

Tried several times even tried rebooting.  Same issue. All other updates were successful.  Check for new version of 360, no new version. Check for errors in installation using autofix from support no problems.

 

Same Problem for me.

Same issue here.

Norton 2013 Reputation Revocation List failed to complete updating.

Running on a Win 7 SP1 64 bit. Norton Security suite 20.3.1.22 using Traditional update channel.

I have had the same problem.  Contacted Norton advisor who reinstalled Norton for me and it made no difference - I am back to square one.  Perhaps this is a universal issue?
