I have a problem with the firewall built into Norton 360. I have a necessary site I must access. The firewall thinks it's dangerous and won't let me go there. I added it to the exclusion list and everything worked fine -- for about a week. Then it decided to block access to the site again. I added it to exclusions and the cycle repeated itself.
So -- I disabled the firewall hoping to replace it with another. Unfortunately I can't. It seems Norton 360 took over that setting and I can't install a different firewall! So I'm left to depend on my router for firewall protection.
The user should ALWAYS have the option to which firewall they prefer.
In summary:
1) Norton 360 Firewall seems to lose exclusions over time
2) The user, not Norton, should be able to decide on the firewall in use.
Other than that I love the features of Norton 360, and hope you will consider this
Thank you for your consideration.
