About 6 months ago I noticed every time I tried to access my online banking, it would take me 2-3 minutes to authenticate past the login screen. If I tried to access my account from a laptop accessing the internet from the same router, also running the same version of Norton 360, (but running Windows 8 instead of Windows 7) I would access my account within seconds.
This morning I turned my firewall off for 15 minutes, and got into my account right away.
I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit (6.1, Build 7601).
Can anyone help me identify why this is happening and/or somehow allow access to the website by bypassing the firewall?
I'm also experiencing slow down when trying to access another financial institution's website. I experience no slow down on ANY other kind of website.
I have tried resetting the firewall, but when I press "Reset" then "Yes" after the warning, the "Apply" box is greyed out. Even if I try and make changes in the "Configure", it is still greyed out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! :)
