Liveupdate “You are offline”
Driver Updater cant update Drivers “You are offline”
Both only with Norton VPN activated otherwise “You are offline”
i have the same problem “Your’e offline” reinstalled cleaned completly but no use
I’m very, very sorry, it was my own mistake. I’ve now found the error and it wasn’t a Norton problem or Bug. It was the Pi-hole (an ad-blocker) that is installed across the network, it blocked some Norton Services.
I came across this when I installed Norton V24 for my father and the live update worked for him.
:Update: I found the Blocklist and the Blocked Domain for those who interested. It´s StevenBlacks Blocklist (Standard Pihole Blocklist after install) Domain: ncc.avast.com
I opened an issue on Stevenblacks Blocklist on Github to remove this Domain

The other Question is why does LiveUpdate connect to ncc.avast.com for Connectivity ?!?
StevenBlack won´t remove the Domain from his Blocklist (because its own opinion over Norton). So if someone use Pihole make an exception for the Domain
Make the connection Private from Public then the issue is fixed.
