I am using Norton 360 version 5 (Microsoft 90 days trial ,OEM partner) ,although 30 days are still left in my subscription but whenever i click on "Subscribe Now" in Norton 360 main Window for renewing annual subscription ,my Country (Pakistan) is not in list . Although i discussed it with Norton chat support team ,they asked me to have a try on renewing subscription using USA billing address which i don;t have but since i am from Pakistan ,i will not try to play with credit card using wrong billing address.
Now i have two options ,buy it from Pakistan stores (symantec authorized partners) or buy it online using other options where "Pakistan" will be in list. So if i buy a Norton 360 as a new customer ,my product key will work on my existing Norton 360 installation?
Welcome to Norton Community. You can purchase the Norton360 from stores and you can use the product key to activate your trial version once it expires. Because purchasing online from unknown sources might end up in problems.
And if you activate the product before trial expires you will lose your remaining days. To sort it out contact our chat Technicians from here to add the remaining days from your trial N360 to the newly purchased N360. To activate the trial click on Activate/Renew in your Norton360 interface window. Hope it helps you...
Thanks for the reply ,i am not sure which version of Norton 360 (V5) i am using ,i-e standard or premium. As I am using Trial 90 days from Microsoft partners site.
You're welcome. If your Norton window looks like the below image then it is a N360 standard edition. If it is Premier it will say Norton 360 Premier Edition at the Top.
And to upgrade to the latest version goto the option support at the top right hand side corner->check for New version->it will open the Norton updatecenter for you follow the instructions if it shows an update is available.
