Norton 360 transparent proxy blocks connections on HotSpot

Issue abstract: Norton 360 transparent proxy blocks connections on HotSpot

Detailed description: if I connect my MacBook Pro (macOS Sequoia 15.1) to my Tmobile HotSpot from my iPhone 14 Pro (iOS 18.1), and use Brave or Chrome browser, a bunch of websites (e.g. nextdoor!) won’t load. It says “no internet connection”. Gmail works. Craigslist doesn’t. Google Calendar works. Nextdoor doesn’t. These are just a few examples. I thought maybe some browser extension is causing a problem but even after turning off all extensions, the issue continued. Firefox and Safari are able to load the pages though! If I go to my Mac Settings > network > VPN & Filters and turn off Norton Transparent Proxy, all pages on all browsers start loading up! However, within a minute or so the Transparent Proxy gets enabled automatically again! Even if I remove Transparent Proxy from the filter settings by clicking on the “-”, it comes back within a minute automatically. It’s extremely annoying.

Product & version number: Norton 24.9.2
