I don't even want to use it, but it keeps asking me so I just let it run. When it was finished, it still says Tuneup attention with the orange exclamation. I want to disable it like I did with backup, but every forum post I see about disabling it is just to not have it do automatic tuneups. I don't want it on period because I don't like seeing the orange exclamation in the taskbar when there isn't an actual problem. How can I diable it, or at least get it to recognize that I just ran the tuneup?

Task isn't checked, and it's disk optimization, windows temporary files, and internet explorer temporary files. I clicked fix now at the top of the page and I've went through them individually to fix them, but whenever it finished with the green check, it's still telling me to fix them.
I just tried it again and in the middle of it's fixing, I noticed the tuneup block on the main page was checked green, so I just cancelled the tuneup and now the green check is there. It's still telling me that I've never run any of the tuneup tasks even though I have about 20 times, but at least it isn't alerting me about it anymore. Still, the issue with it not giving the green check after the tasks are done is still an issue that needs to be addressed.
It might pay you to export your Identity Safe data to somewhere you can find it (if you use that feature).
You could try downloading the Norton remove & Reinstall Tool to uninstall your current copy of N360 and install a fresh new copy just in case there is a problem with your installation.
I don't use the feature, but I will use the tool if it happens again. Thanks for the help.
You're welcome.
Let us know how you get on.
