Norton 360 UI doesn't start on Windows 10

After Norton 360 UI (uiStub.exe) doesn't start anymore I have reinstalled.

Then it worked a while and stopped again.

Under C:\Program Files\Norton Security\Engine there are two versions installed:

22.23.10.10 and 22.24.1.6

The NortonSecurity service which is started automatically is the 22.23.10.10.

Reinstall says I am on the latest version.

Any ideas?

Now, system starts the 22.24.1.6 version and the UI is working :-)

Please try running Norton LiveUpdate + Restart (not Shut down) machine.  Repeat. 

Be sure you are using the Restart command. Not 'Shut down' and startup again if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled. If you use Windows 8/8.1, 10 or 11, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. See more information here. (credit peterweb)
