I am puzzled and intrigued by your response which makes me think that I cannot help. What you are seeing is nothing like what I would have expected.
When N360 backup creates a backup set, I thought it always put it in a directory called N360_BACKUP in the root of the relevant drive. Then the actual backup set is a folder, not called anything like "RAY-PC" or "Default Set" but, something like {9AB5473C-0624-414B-B53E-0185FDECE599}. The backup set is only seen with a name like "RAY-PC" or "Default Set" when looked at via Norton backup/restore software. So unless the Norton backup system has changed dramatically since 2010 when you seem to have done the backup you refer to, it does not look like a Norton backup to me.
Can you find the "Ray on F" backup that you have just created? I would expect it to be in a N360_BACKUP folder in the root of the drive and that in there will be a single folder with a name in the form of {9AB5473C-0624-414B-B53E-0185FDECE599} and a date stamp that matches when you made the "Ray on F" backup.
I am puzzled by those folder names too. I suspect the latest backup software uses a different folder structure than was used in 2010. Yes -- the N360_BACKUP folder was created this time (when using the latest backup sw version). Your questions got me digging around in the old folders and I am starting to think I will be able to manually find the files I am looking for. So it’s less of a panic for me at the moment J. I have also submitted my questions to the Norton Support folks, but still waiting for a response. I will let you know if I learn anything useful. Thanks for your help!
