I have the Netflix streaming plan, whenever I watch a movie on my laptop and then watch another movie a few hours later, Netflix activates it a new device. I spoke to Netflix about this and they said its a setting in my Internet Security Software that makes Netflix think that my laptop is new device each time when I watch a movie. I have Norton 360 Version 5 and I would like to know if there is a setting in it that prevents Netflix think that my laptop is a new device each time when I watch a movie. This happens with either Interner Explorer 9 and FireFox 4 RC.
HI Gregpod9,
Welcome to Norton Community!
Norton 360 is not compatible with the pre-release versions of Firefox 4.0. The Norton Toolbar in Norton 360 is not currently supported when using Internet Explorer 9.0. So, first try to configure the Firewall in Norton 360 for Netfix program. You can refer to the steps from the link given below:
If the problem persists, you can try uninstalling Firefox 4.0 RC and then install the Firefox 3.6 version which is compatible with Norton 360. Thus we can determine whether the problem is caused by unsupported version of Firefox/Internet Explorer.
