Norton 360 version 4 installation

This is related to something I may need to do.  I have available a laptop computer with Norton 360 version 2, running low on subscription days, Windows Vista;  I have a file on another laptop, N360-ESD-17-5-0-127.exe, on the desktop.  What is this file?  Is this the installer for Norton 360 version 4 ?  Can I transfer it by USB flash drive to the other computer having the version 2, and then just RUN the   ...ESD...127.exe file and that will install Norton 360 version 4?  Other details needed to know?

Hello g_cafe_c

If you have any problems with the program installing correctly from version 2 to version 4, please let us know. Usually, when you install a new version that has skipped a version, then it  is sometimes better to use the Norton Removal Tool to get a clean install, but that will remove all Norton products from that computer.

You can try the over the top install, but if any problems, please come back and then we can tell you how to save the identity safe file if you use that feature and also a link for the removal tool or perhaps just using add/remove will be good enough.
