Norton 360 VPN & Windows 11 24H2

My PC is a custom build less then 2 years old running a ASUS Z590 & Intel I7 11700KE processor with 32G ram and a new SSD drive installed in January 2025 with a fresh copy of windows 11 pro
Mid February I developed an issue when using Norton’s VPN where the connection speed slowed to a craw, Believing it was a software issue I ran system restore which resolved the problem until Microsoft reinstalled the updates a few weeks later
Unsure if the problem was on Norton or Microsoft I uninstalled 360 completely and reinstalled, it did not fix the problem, Next I ran a clean install of Windows 11 and reinstalled Norton again and it also did not fix the problem, on a wim I installed a free VPN from Proton which works perfectly with speeds faster then Norton’s ever were.
Norton you have a problem in more ways then one when a free VPN out performs one I paid over a hundred dollars to use. Maybe you should stop sending me offers to buy more products and fix what doesn’t work

Team has whit the 24.4 miner it is a mega bugfix
And the cant send there next update out before all the bugs is fix i hope they do it soon the 24.4 miner should not be a update at all but that happens when you got many bugs

@Cavedog Check your VPN for the “protocol” that it is currently set to use. That may be a part of the issue. Please note that most VPN’s that are worth their salt will slow internet speeds due to the encryption processes going on. Not to the point that your speeds are slower than cold honey. The Mimic protocol is the suggest one to use.
