Norton 360 VS Norton Core

I currently have Norton 360; if there is a problem with 360 I can get support, if needed Norton can take control of my computer to solve my problem. Will I still be able to have the same kind of support with Norton Core or will everything be done by talking live on the phone with a Norton support specialist?

Hello Gordy

Norton Core has it's own telephone support.

Norton Core Phone Support

(U.S. Only):

 1-855-966-7866

The Core is only available in the USA only at the current time.

A lot of the support is done via the Core Board.

You can post your Issue in a new thread unless your issue is already being posted by someone else. A lot of times when you have an issue, you may be requested to send logs. This Is done by shaking your cellphone a couple of times, a message box will come up, In that message box you would put a link to the thread you are posting in, your Forum username and your Core's serial number. When you hit submit, logs are automatically sent. The information you enter in the little box identifies your logs to you.

Improvements occur through Firmware Updates and Apps Updates. These all occur overnight automatically. You can not run Live Update. You can use it on an unlimited number of devices.. It's really a cool product.

Have a Good Night and

Thanks.

You need to connect to the Core through some device. PC, Mac or smartphone.. And to manage the Core, you can only use a smartphone.

If you are using a cell data connection, Norton should be able to try to connect to your Core. Otherwise, you would have to use a telephone connection with Support as they talk you through whatever you need.
