Norton 360 Windows 10 Can't Connect to VPN

Norton 360 Premium unable to connect to VPN on Windows 10 Laptop PC.

This was working until recently but stopped after I changed the status of some of the local component services using the ‘Services.msc’ option. Unfortunately I didn’t keep track of the services that I amended though the ‘Norton VPN’ service is shown as Running.
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the product and tried connecting the VPN to different regions without success.
I have no Wifi issues and the VPN works correctly on other devices.

Product & version number: 25.5.10141 (build 25.5.10141.934)

Running - Automatic?
Can you Stop/Start/Restart Norton VPN service?

Hi BJM, thank you for responding.
I stopped & started the service. I got a notification saying ‘turning on VPN’ though within the Norton application it still says '‘couldn’t turn on VPN’

Thank you. Are you aware of an ETA for a fix ?

and the service reports “Running” or “Running - Automatic”?
Does Norton LiveUpdate & Quick Scan run okay?
Does VPN switch change from red to green?
I wonder does “couldn’t turn on VPN” mean “couldn’t connect to Norton server”?
So, you don’t see VPN is on? you don’t see Virtual IP address?
You’ve reviewed your Device Manager → Network adapters?

@Alan_Bullingham You can do the following to try fixing the corruption in Windows services:
1-Start > Type Command Prompt in the search bar and right-click it > Run as an administrator
2-Type sfc /scannow and press Enter to execute the command.

If that doesn’t get you squared away, use system restore and restore Windows 10 to a date earlier than the date you tailored services. That should bring back your settings to what they were.
