Norton Account

I just upgraded to NIS 2009. I was running NIS 2008 but it seized up after allowing windows to install XP Service Pack 3. The only way I could get through the NIS 2009 install successfully was to completely remove the older version. Now 2009 is up and running, but I cannot access my account. It rejects my previous password. Trying the lost password button tells me that an e-mail will be sent, but it nevr comes. The forum shows that others have had this problem, but I dont see a ready solution. I've been on hold now for over a hour, and it doesn't seem like I will ever hear from a person, so I'll try the forum.

 

Not to be snarky, but I never believe it when companies say its due to unexpected demand, we all know that it is more likely due to being understaffed by design. Some VP probably got a huge bonus for suggesting that people will hold forever if they really need an answer. Its not like NIS is cheap shareware, for crying out loud, hire a few more people
