Norton Vulnerability Protection add on recently started causing some websites to load slow or hang. I have 3 computers and they all started doing this awhile back. Maybe in the last week, but not positive of the exact time. Two have the 2012 version and another one I upgraded to 2013 today. Its the Norton antivirus.
All the computers have windows 7 and IE9. Two are 64 bit and one is 32. I tried quite a few things because there is so much information about a web browser loading slow or hanging. But after I disable all add ons it stopped. So it ended up being that Norton Vulnerability Protection add on.
It does it on google news every time now. Sometimes it just does nothing for awhile then loads, most times loads partly but hangs there awhile. Once and awhile will get that "has a long script thing".
So, wondering if Norton did something recently to cause it. I don't really use Chrome but I did try it and its works OK. But I don't see any extension listed in it for Norton.
Right now I will just disable Norton Vulnerability Protection, even though I'm not sure what I will lose.
