Norton Alert: High Disk Usage by: Host proceses for Windows Services

Hello all:

I'm new to Norton (used to use McAfee until it let through Smart HDD and Google redirect viruses).

I got the High Disk Usage by: Host proceses for Windows Services performance alert shortly after turning on my computer this afternoon.

I see the following when i check the Norton log:

Recommended action: no action required
Program Path: c:\widnows\system32\svchost.exe

Program Description: Host Process for Windows Services

Process ID: 376

Disk Write Activity: 10MB (Total for this process)

Time: 2:33:48PM

I went to check the event viewer and looked in the windows logs and can't find anythig to match the time of Norton's alert.

The only thing I did before coming to post this was move some pictures from my HDD to an external HDD for backup.

Also, is it normal to see repeated messages concerning "c:\program files(x86)internet explorer\iexplorer.exe is preparing to access the internet"?

I have IE9 and Firefox installed but almost never use IE any more. The messages are appearing very frequently.
