Norton Anti-Spam does not work

The Norton Anti-Spam does not work. It does not catch anything.

If I click on a spam mail and then click the Mark as Spam Button (my translation), the mail will be transported to Outlook's spam mail folder. If I after that click the Open Norton AntiSpam button, nothing happens. It is like it was deactivated. If I then open NIS, the Settings buttoon will not work - it's like it also was deactivated.

Sometimes when these buttons gets "deactivated" I get a error message if I click them.

Error: 3040, 8504, 104

NIS will then tell me that an error occured and that it is trying to repair itself. The repair is then reported as successful, but in reality nothing has changed. NIS continues to ignore spam mail.

If I don't mark any spam as spam with the Mark as Spam Button, the Open Norton AntiSpam button works just fine and I also have no problem with the Settings button.

Reinstalling NIS temporarily solves the problem. I have done that three times using the Norton removal Tool.

NIS: 20.3.0.36

Windows 8 (with latest updates)

Office 2013 Home Premium (with latest updates)

I am using Outlook 2013.

Its a bigger problem than Norton / syamtec will admit. I get no sense out of them at all. 8504, 104 keeps appearing on my widows 8 laptop. I have spent hours on this several chat sessions and used NRT 8 times, power eraser 3 times. I have now removed NIS2013, it appears once this error is up, no protection exists at all so your are vulnerable.

I've tried everything, but the problem reappears.

How do you know that this problem makes your pc vulnerable?
