Hi there
I have just set up the norton apps on my two devices: Samsung Galaxy S3 and Asus Nexus 7. I might have done it all wrong though! The end result is that while I am logged in and apparently set up on both devices, I cannot access them both from the website dashboard. If I use Firefox, I was previously able to access only the Samsung S3, and was able to send a scream, but now it tells me I have no devices, and if I use Chrome, I cannot access either and instead get this error message:
We're sorry, but we're having a problem accessing the page you are trying to view.
Error ID: 28fd404c-d042-47fc-a4c0-a04c89b32c9e
I bought the Nexus 7 with Norton Tablet Security from PC World in the UK. I downloaded the software from the website and installed it on both the phone and the tablet, registered with the supplied code and all seemed well. On both devices I was pointed to upgrade to the latest versions. It seemed like I might have done this several times, what with the various add ons, and I got a bit confused, but I now have the following installed on the Nexus 7: Norton Anti-Theft and Norton Mobile, and on the Samsung Galaxy S3: Norton Mobile only.
In both cases I have logged in to the apps. In both cases the apps say the anti theft is secure, and the anti malware is secure etc. Security Lock is enabled.
Have I done something wrong? Am I using the wrong apps for my devices. Should I have used two separate codes to register rather than one?
Can you help please, as so far this seems like a big waste of money!
FYI my computer is a mac running 10.6.8.
thanks kindly
