I am running Windows 7 HP with Norton IS 2013 and I need some info about the Anti Spam toolbar in Outlook 2007. When I open Outlook the toolbar is there but when I go to my Inbox if there is a message that is Spam in my eyes the button "Is Spam" in the toolbar is greyed out. The other 2 are not greyed out which brings me to the question of How do I put the message that I believe to be spam in the spam folder.
Al the messages in the junk folder when I delete them they just go to the deleted folder and I'm sure that most of those are spam. When I open the deleted folder the "Is Spam" button becomes active again. It seems that the only time the "Is Spam" button is not active is when I open the inbox.
I guess I'm wondering how anything gets to the spam folder. I didn't put anything there yet there are 4 entries. Is this Manual or Auto? Can you see my confusion? I just don't see how this works or integrates.
