I have the current version of NAV running and I have Spy Sweeper installed also. I run NAV in real mode as my virus monitor, and have Spy Sweeper installed, but "not" running in real mode, just use it to manually check my computer manually when I want to. But, NAV, at times gives messages that there is a conflict with another virus software (Spy Sweeper) and should I let it uninstall it. I don't know what the conflict is and I tell it no each time. But the question is, why does NAV issue this message, when Spy Sweeper is not running in live mode??
I checked MSCONFIG and Services.msc, and as I set Spy Sweeper up, it is "not" starting in real mode as NAV seems to imply! I'm running Win7.
What is the problem here - does NAV look for particular programs on your computer that perform virus detection functions and want to uninstall it even when it is not running in real mode.
Any advice is really appreciated.
