Norton antivirus how to install in windows xp computor

I think I am making progress thanks to the person who sent a link, I cannot see a name so thank you. I think the program is now installed correctly but I am unable to comunicate with my Norton account to activate it as it says my web browser is out of date. My browser is the most up to date one for XP, please advise if there is any way round this

Um, can you enter product key thru Norton Security -> Help Center -> Enter Product Key.
Maybe, you cannot communicate with Norton server?
