I upgrade Windows Server to version 2022 and Norton Antivirus Plus installer inidicates that t’s incompatible with this version of Windows… The old server used to have Windows Server 2012.
Any thoughts?
Hello. I also ran Windows Home Server 2016 and had Norton Security running on it. Once updated to a newer version of WS that compatibility ended. Its much to do with the way Norton interacts with the OS system “flags” to perform much of the tasks it needs to work properly. Currently, Norton products DO NOT support any version of Windows Server.
Avast does have an offering for 1 device here:
Broadcom ( now owner of the former Symantec brand ) can offer products as well, just be ready for some hefty pricing.
