Norton antivirus update

Hi,

 

I am using norton antivirus(version no:20.X.X.0.0) and my subscription is about to expire in 10 days.Hence I want to renew but i am having few doubts before renewing it.Please help me on this

 

1)In the norton antivirus 2014 version you have removed the following features from 2013

  •    Shop and bank online with protection against cybercriminials who can steal your personal information,identity or hard earned money.
  • Protect your personal information and online identity by warning you of unsafe and scam websites right in your search results and automatically blocking them.

2)The price catalog for norton internet security differs,In this link http://buy.norton.com/estore/clp/options_stc_d5v5_3p6s_nav2_default the price for norton internet security is shown as Rs.1,490.00 while in the following link http://in.norton.com/internet-security/ it shows as 1,039.99 for (1Year/1pc).So which is right.

 

3)Also please let me know what are major differences between norton antivirus 2014 and norton antivirus 2013.

As far as the cost of the program goes, you can buy the product in any store  usually for a better price than in the Norton store.. You just need the key that is in the box. We can give you the link for the new program. Support can be given thru the Forum and with the use of the chat program if necessary. Since you're in India you can try for sites like flipkart (its cheaper compared to buy.norton) I usually use that way. About your version, you are currently using just antivirus. May be you need to reinstall if you buy internet security. When new versions are released features are improved for user convenience. So some features are enhanced, hidden or removed. The vulnerability protection and ID safe features depend on browser support. You will have to check settings of browsers for that. To be more safe you can also configure Norton's DNS IP addresses to your computer. Regular updates will keep your system always safe.
