Norton™ AntiVirus Version 11 for Mac®

Am running Macbook Pro with OSX 10.6.8 >> I have been using Norton version 2.1.1 for over a year and received an update message for my subscription. Went on to Norton and purchased latest version: Norton™ AntiVirus Version 11 for Mac® and received an invoice accordingly. Have been on to my account and can not download the latest version. I have pressed "view" next to the product and can NOT find the Download button or On the Order History tab, under Delivery, click DOWNLOAD. Just doesn't seem to be there. Any suggestions?

As far as the download is concerned, you would need to contact customer service.  But I wanted to clarify something, you mentioned the version being 2.1.1, which is actually the version of the QuickMenu (this is a little confusing, to see the version of Norton AntiVirus you need to open that application and look at its About... box.

If you already have Norton Antivirus 11.x, you only need to purchase a subscription renewal, not the complete product.  In fact, installing a new copy of the same version will not extend your subscription.  If you do have NAV 11 now, my suggestion is to contact customer service and explain that you purchased the product erroneously and wish to exchange it for a renewal.

For your information, NAV 12 for Mac (which only supports OS X Lion) recently concluded its public beta.  No release date yet.

According to a post from the product manager, subscriptions for NAV 11 aren't expected to carry over to NAV 12.

If you're not planning to upgrade to OS X Lion, you'll be fine with renewing your NAV 11 subscription for another year.

Thanks - would be delighted to telephone or contact customer services - but how do I do that? I just keep getting directed to FAQ'a and forums.
