I get the info that Norton App Lock updates stops june 11 2024! Then some gibberish about Norton offering highest security/privacy standard. How does this offer Norton users the same, or a better product, as before the end of App Lock updates?
The posting was mainly about APP LOCK.
Depending on what type of AI robot, especially payd or free, You get different results.
I was presented with many equivalent services from mentioned Security suites.

Other major sec companies seems to keep the same type of product, in their sec-suites. I subscribed to Norton 360 in order to get a comprehensive, all-in-one, sec-suite. Instead the product get crippled. Furthermore, the functions in Utilities Ultimate, Driver Update, Antitracking etc are all about security and privacy. These functions should all be part of a sec-suite - not sold, as subscriptions, piece by piece.
00360:
Use AI Chatbots, then visit e.g. Kaspersky, F-Secure, Bitdefender, Malwarebytes, McAfee, Revo etc. - I did, and got lots of examples.
I'm not finding "all-in-one" "sec-suite" examples equivalent to Norton 360 + Norton Utilities Ultimate, Norton Driver Updater, Norton Antitracking, etc., Care to share one example?
00360:
Moreover, You can find better products , for free, instead of Utilities Ultimate, Driver Update, Anti-Tracker etc.
Maybe, you meant standalone free alternatives. Yeah, possibly.

Care to name "other" security programs that includes equivalent to Norton 360 + utilities ultimate, driver updater, antitracking, etc.,
I'd prefer Norton 360 with less baked in features. Just me.

Although I did use Norton App Lock for awhile I never considered it a very good or necessary product.
It was geared to families that wanted to share a device with children. Norton App Lock allowed parents to lock apps they did not want their children to access.

I have finally uninstalled it and have to say I like the functionality much better without it. I never thought it did much good to lock an app but that is just my opinion.
Confidential files or folders are a different case entirely and I use Google Safe Folder found within Google Files for a high level of best security practice.
11 labels might draw more attention. This is a broader issue than just AppLock. Since Norton became a Broadcom product it seems to be cut-up into separate bits and pieces. Every part with its own expensive subscription - Instead of including new features into existing Norton products. Moreover, You can find better products , for free, instead of Utilities Ultimate, Driver Update, Anti-Tracker etc.
Yes, thats the announcement - again.
Of the 11 labels you selected for your post, only 3 apply to the App Lock app. The others are for other Norton apps or features.
As noted in the announcement, you will still be able to use the App Lock app if you already have it installed. You just will not get any official Norton support if you run into issues. You will still be able to ask questions here, but if there is any fault with your installation, there will be nothing we can do. Uninstalling, you will not be able to reinstall.
