Norton App Lock starts locking an app which was not selected

Norton App Lock keeps enabling itself to lock the Google Keep app, even though I do not select that app to be locked.  When I open Norton App Lock, I find that Keep shows up as enabled for locking.  Disabling locking for that app resolves the issue temporarily, but Keep will become locked seemingly randomly after some time (usually several weeks).  How can I prevent locking from being enabled for Keep?

Thanks for posting back. It reminded me to check my installation of the app. It has remained unlocked on my tablet so far.

Let's see what happens over the next couple of weeks.

I can't say for sure if I ever enabled Google Keep to be locked, but I don't think I ever did.  I haven't seen this behavior affect any other apps.

I've seen the issue once since my last post.  I just cleared the app data and set up App Lock again, so I'll keep an eye out for this issue to appear again.  This time I can be certain that I never enabled Keep to be locked after the app data reset.

Had you ever set Google Keep to be protected by App Lock? And no other apps show this behaviour?

Try clearing the app data and resetting all lock settings. Try going into Android Settings - Apps. Scroll to the App Lock app and clear the app cache and app Data. Restart the device. This will reset your App Lock to as it was just after installation. You will probably have to set your PIN again. Then test to see if things work properly.

I'll install Google Keep on my tablet to see if I see what you are. From what you say, it will take a few weeks to see if it gets locked again.
