Norton Auto Renewal

Not sure if everyone is aware that even if your credit card on file with Norton has expired, your new card can be charged by Norton. I was shocked to learn that Discover (not sure what other credit card companies do this) will supply your new card information to Norton, since they are "business partners".

Not only that but the amount I was charged for auto renew for Norton Security was twice as much as what I could have purchased for online. So much for rewarding long time customers. When I contacted Norton to ask about the situation, they did agree to credit my account for the higher charge and then enter a charge for the promotion price. Much to my surprise, when I checked my Discover statement, they charged me twice for the promotion price and have not credited my account for the original purchase. At this point I have charges totaling $229.00 for a years subscription to Norton Security. Still trying to get this resolved. I realize that in today's environment it is "buyer beware" but did not expect these business practices from Norton and Discover Card.
