I've been running Norton backup on my mac laptop for months and I've only successfully backed up 3 times. That's it.
Today I decided I'd try to get some specific use out of it to upload a large DV file to safeguard while I work on a project. No go. I even deleted both the computers on my account to try to "reset" and not only is back-up not progressing I've got a mysterious 10GB of used space that really shouldn't be there (since I deleted everything). On that same note, why does it take Norton so long to Purge files? That can't have anything to do with my upload speed, the files are on their servers. You'd think a purge would happen in a blink?
Anyway, everything about this product is slow. I'm actually at work now and my bandwidth is smokin' here. So it's not that either.
In the off-chance that there may be some way to configure NoBU to do a better job, I thought I'd post my complaints to this forum.
