fwiw ~ as I recall Adobe Acrobat Reader has some security settings see here

Sorry, I’ve no way to create your Adobe experience. I’ve no Adobe trial applications or Pro applications.
Creative Cloud Desktop installs n’ opens…my Norton 360 does not object…that’s as far as I can get.
