Hi there,
My laptop is so infected that I'll have to use Norton Bootable Recovery Tool before I can install the 360 anti-virus. However, I just want to know exactly what it does. Does it wipe everything on the laptop (e.g.. Word, Itunes, LaTeX, etc.) or is it just documents, photos and similar stuff it removes? Also, more importantly, do I need the original master disc that came with the laptop? I ask because I don't have these things (university laptop) so I just want to double check exactly what the Norton Bootable Recovery Tool does before downloading it!
N.b. I've already tried the Norton Power Eraser and it didn't help.
