I noticed the other day in my event viewer in windows xp pro system that on boot up Norton is causing this event error. I did a search of my system for SrtETmp and found it has something to do with norton because there is a folder called SrtETmp. so thats why I am here reporting this. I tried turning system Restore off and rebooting and turning it back on and creating a new restore point but it doesn't seem to solve the problem. in two days time I gett the same error again. The problem doesn't happen every boot but rather once or twice a week. I tried doing a google search but all I could find was system hijack this logs that didn't really asnwer this. whats upsetting to me is that this system is running perfectly other then this SR error.
anyone have any guess as to how to solve this? or has anyone else have this strange event error?
