This settlement applies to Quebec or Ontario residents who between July 24, 2010 and June 27, 2016, for personal, family or household purposes, and not for business purposes, (a) purchased or licensed one or more of the Norton Products through the websites norton com] ca.norton or [symantec com]broadcom com/products/cybersecurity), or (b) paid to renew a purchase or license of one or more of the Norton Products through an automatic renewal service provided by Symantec. If this applies to you, you may be eligible for compensation under the terms of the proposed settlement.

You can buy Norton 360 Premium from Amazon at that price and transfer that subscription to your current subscription.

Did you actually receive a settlement code for the $30 credit? If so, there should be instructions given with the settlement email on how to use it.

If not, this email sounds like the first contact from a class action law firm to let you know you might be eligible for inclusion in the class action suit. You will have to read through the entire email and will probably have to go to a website to register your wish to be included in the class action.

Definitely noted, but i dont think thats related to this settlement.

Yes i did get a code, but as i follow the link to claim the code it says to purchase a new product with the 30$ incentive. its ok for people chosing to upgrade. but having norton 360 premium² there’s nothing i can purchase that adds any value to what i have. still no explanation on what norton did to even receive this type of order of a settlement offer.

You can do a couple of things here. Purchasing a new subscription to 360 Premium using the code would start up a second subscription. Then you could contact Norton Support and ask them to add the time from the new subscription to your existing subscription.

Or you can store that code in a safe place and wait until your current subscription is about to expire and purchase the new subscription with the code when you have one or two days remaining. If you choose this option, be sure you have turned off the Automatic renewal for your current subscription in your Norton Account. You might also want to remove your payment information from your Account to make sure there is no ‘accidental’ renewal taken.

I received a email about this but funny enough my spam blocker stopped my from seeing it at first so I wasn’t sure if it was real, so where do I use the code they sent me?

did you try Enter Promo Code
for example:

Same Issue. I received an email for $15 on 09-27. I don’t want to buy another product. Can’t see a way to extend my current Norton360 by “X” days.
