A few weeks ago i began receiving error 0x800CCC1A each time i did a send/receive in outlook. Thought it must have been an update problem with microsoft. Tried everything. Finally turned OFF the antispam in norton and it is FIXED.
if you are having issues/messages such as:
your server does not support the encryption type you have specified . . .or similar,
i would advise you to save a lot of time and frustration and first turn off the norton antispam. You will find it under the Settings, Antispam.
