Norton Community Watch showing 19.1.1.3 as the NIS product number but the about shows 19.2.0.10

When I open Norton community watch section of Norton History, I see the following lines in some of the entry:

Product Version:Norton Internet Security:19.1.1.3

Shouldn't it read 19.2?  If so, is something wrong with my product?

Hi Mike,

Can you please check the data against which that entry is present?

NIS got updated to 19.2 only on Wednesday evening prior to that it was 19.1.1.3

Please check and let us know.

regards,

Prasanna.

The entry appeared today.  Date updated: 2011-11-11 15:04:31.

But when I ran support I got:

Norton Internet Security 19.2.0.10 Error: 0, 0 Windows 7 Home Premium 7601.17640.amd64fre.win7sp1_gdr.110622-1506 Norton Autofix Results: 0 item(s)

This is what I am talking about:

The date shows the last status update time, not the record creation time.

As such this probably means that the entry was created when running the older version, but only got submitted after updating to the newer version.

Regards

Pieter

But then why did it only appear in the history today?

Also, next time it processes, should it s how 19.2 or 19.1.

Are you 100% sure it was not there before the 19.2 update?

Remember the date is the last modified date, not the created date.

So again, the record was probably created by 19.1, then submitted by 19.2.

Look for newly created entries, you will see they contain the new version number.

Pieter

I don't remember seeing it before the update.  But I will wait for another creation.

Edit: Lets say its created today, does this indicate something is wrong and what corrective measures can be done?  A reinstall?

Also, how can I know when was the entry created?

There is nothing abnormal about the entries, it is part of the community watch telemetry collection functionality.

There is no visible way to see when the entry was created.

I got another Community Watch entry today and the version number shows 19.2.0.10.  I think the processing for the entry of question was done before the upgrade.
