Hi guys, first time on here :]. I have a bit of a problem, i had a virus a couple of days ago and it kept telling me that i had all sorts of viruses in what appeared to be windows security popups but they weren’t and at the same time a popup would appear asking me to buy anti virus products as well as this in the processes tab under windows task manager most processes appear to have been duplicated at least twice :S. the main reason i am here tho is that i figured norton would get rid of it as i had just gotten a message from windows saying ‘windows defender user interface has stopped working’ so i couldn’t use that cause everytime i try to open defender i get a blue screen and then restart!! so i clicked on norton and nothing happens there is a loading symbol from the cursor and then nothing (nothing appearing in windows task manager applications tab either) and i then tried to scan something using norton and when i right click and scroll down to scan with norton and the wording is grey’d out and i can’t click it! whats going on and can i fix it?
i really hope you guys can help,

p.s. i have restarted the computer numerous times and norton is still 100% unresponsive
