Norton ConnectSafe

Camargo:

I Said that i get the image from Google (Because my computer is in other language), so This is not the DNS i used...

Yes, I understood that, but since you did not provide the IP addresses that you have in your computer, I tried to point to how your settings should differ from the image you posted.  Again, if you do not have Norton ConnectSafe's IP addresses set as your DNS provider, there is no way that ConnectSafe could block any websites.

Please post a screenshot so we can see exactly what you are referring to.

How to post an image in the forums.

Thanks.

I Said that i get the image from Google (Because my computer is in other language), so This is not the DNS i used, I get my DNS from OpenDNS Site and not this from the image.
I get the dns from something as "Family Shield", and yes, it has something with Noton Security as the opendns sites it'selfs says it

Your alternate server should be 208.67.220.220 for OpenDNS.  8.8.8.8 is Google's DNS service.  As long as you are not getting the DNS address automatically, and you have OpenDNS addresses in the boxes, there is no way that Norton ConnectSafe will be involved.  Now, it is possible that if you have Norton Security installed, the SafeWeb component may block known malicious sites.  Could that be your issue?

I Set up at the same way the site OpenDNS tell me, But anyway i used this for something as 2 days in the past week and removed the DNS, but this keep blocking the sites.
Connect.PNG(I Get this image from google but its the same thing i did, only changes the DNS Adress that i get from OpenDNS)

Whatever DNS addresses are in your computer will override whatever may be set in your router.  In your computer DNS settings, what IP addresses are showing?

To check if it is set up in your router you need to log into the admin pages on the router. Then check what DNS settings are set up. Is the router yours, or do you live with someone whose router you are using?

Where are you checking the DNS settings?

Did you use Connect Safe at some time? How did you set it up? Just in the computer's network adapter settings?

How to check if this has been set up in my Router?
And checking about the DNS, i see that a week ago this has been put as my DNS, but i no more use this DNS (I get the DNS by the OPEN DNS), so if i dont use the DNS or any norton product why this keep in my router?

And did you check to see if the Connect Safe has been set up in your router?

Are you seeing this only while connected to your router?

The router is D-Link DIR 600

Has the router you use been set up with Connect Safe?

What router are you using? Some new routers come with Connect Safe in the firmware.

requested thread moved to Connect Safe Board for better exposure.
