Introducing Norton Data Protector, a new technology to protect users’ PC from malicious processes that intend to destabilize and propagate the malicious nature to other good processes as well.
This new Norton Security feature will automatically identify what it thinks are your most precious files based on location and file type and prevent any untrusted applications from modifying or deleting the data.
Norton Data Protector feature aims to provide the comfort of having an additional layer of ransomware protection that is automatic. Additionally, you can customize the configuration of what applications and files are allowed to be modified.
Note: User cannot remove the pre-defined Files/Folder location which are very critical to be modified by the malicious processes.
